This a new Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition campaign where you explore what happens after your character has died, but that's where the story begins.
The campaign starts on March 7th, 2023, and is inspired by DiAmorte's metal opera on their second album, and uses the theme's of loss, acceptance, and epic nature of determination in the face of one’s own death or the gall to challenge the will of divinity.
Here Jared ask about the inspiration of the Storyteller's Forge itself, as well as the interesting themes and subject matter of Black Ballad itself, and even how death is handled in a game about the players starting out dead.
