Welcome to Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gamed, and our Pathfinder 2nd Edition podcast. We are playing Wrath of the Righteous! It is a Pathfinder adventure path from 1st edition which we will be converting into Pathfinder 2nd Edition. During the tense fight where the head cultist was keeping the party at bay with a supply of souls they harvested to protect themselves, the party managed to overwhelm the cultist's defenses. A mighty blow that seems to worry the evil cultist which forced them to try and escape from the battle and regroup. Now the party has to furiously search to locate them before they raise an alarm to other cultist's, and reveal that Pricess Nell is back trying to take back her city.
Will the cultist escape and warn others, or will the party manage to stop the cultist, and keep their existence a mystery for that much longer?

Previously, we did a Youtube video about the newly released Fantasy Age Second Edition released by Green Ronin Publishing, and we were pretty exited to get some play time with it. Now we deciided to get a game started for all those times where the whole cast can't quite make it to the table. Join us as Fabio, Jeff, Steve, and Zach make brand new characters, all with some dark or mysterious past for GM Jared's new West March's style game, using the Fantasy AGE 2e system. Tina is sadly absent this week, but she may join the Fantasy Age game at some point when another one of us is hit with the scheduling bug, and are unable to attend the game, and we put our main game on pause.

At the end of the last episode, the lead cultist, The Devourer, a large Undead creature, was fleeing from the party because it took some significant damage. Some of the party chased after, and some stayed behiund the purify the desecrated alter. Upon hearing Henny, and Sortek have some trouble in the next room, Sir Ren had charged into the room after them, as Princess Nell continued to purify the alter of Torag.
Will Princess Nell complete the purification of the alter to Torag, her god, and what will happen if Sortek, Henny, and Sir Ren catch up to the Devourer?

Last episode, we left you in mid air, as Henny and Sir Ren burst through the door of the cultist's last stand, as they barricaded themselves in a desecrated lecture hall in hopes to buy time for them to do more dastardly deeds, and possibly even complete whatever dark ritual they were attempting to conjure. As Sortok investigated the magical lock on the door, Henny heard some magical mumblings, and pushed Sortok to safety, as both Henny and Sir Ren burst through, meanwhile Princess Nell was completing her purification of the partially desecrated temple of her gods. Once Princess Nell was finished, Artura with the aid of magic, rushed them both back to join the party just as Henny, and Sir Ren impacted the Devourer and his minions.
With this temple purged of cultist, for now, will the party be able to get back to safety, and finally meet the resistance members, or will their efforts be in vain?

Previously, we did a Youtube video about the newly released Fantasy Age Second Edition released by Green Ronin Publishing, and we were pretty exited to get some play time with it. Now we deciided to get a game started for all those times where the whole cast can't quite make it to the table. Join us as Fabio, Jeff, Steve, and Zach make brand new characters, all with some dark or mysterious past for GM Jared's new West March's style game, using the Fantasy AGE 2e system. Tina is sadly absent this week, but she may join the Fantasy Age game at some point when another one of us is hit with the scheduling bug, and are unable to attend the game, and we put our main game on pause.
Last time, we had most of the group make characters for our Fantasy Age 2e game, which we will play when we all can't make it to the table. But last time, Tina herself was not present, so now that Jeff is unable to attend, Tina now has a chance to make her character, and join the ranks of the CORPS! A group of rag tag rejects, and lost souls, where the only group that will accept you is the CORPS. Members of the CORPS will be send on dangerous missions to search for glory, and protect the citizens, when law and order just isn't enough!

After Tina made her Crime Boss Mage for our Fantasy AGE 2nd edition game that we're going to run any time were short on players, Jared brought up an interesting discussion he read on Reddit about a GM having a discussion with their players about Should Monsters have the ability to hear combat if the players are being noisy, like throwing a fireball spell at monsters, or just the loud sounds of combat, or should the players be able to have combat more like Final Fantasy 7, and all combat is instanced with no outside influence.

Last time, our heroes gave an explosive, and deadly end to the cultists, and their leader, the Devourer monstrosity when Henny, and Sir Ren gave it their all charging into the room, cards flying, and shield raised, and in the end they came out victorious, albeit barely. This left some unexplored rooms to discover, as the party licked their wounds, and they discovered a dwarfish skeleton in a room by itself. But what happens when you drum up a conversation with a long dead dwarf skeleton, who seems to have no desire to attack, but is bound by some unknown force? Why you drink, of course!
With a seemingly good conversation going on with this dwarf, Sortok discovers something interesting, as Henny and Sir Ren try to aid this dwarf, but will their aid be in vain?

We last left off our heroes talking to the Dragon-Scarred Dwarf Skeleton, who seemed to just want our help, but something seemed to be preventing them from conversing completely. The party comes to discover that the Dragon-Scarred is being held by a contract to the Lich Avardes, an very evil creature, that has bound this Dwarves soul into a contract that is actually written on the skeleton's very bones. Sortok tried to bring a magical candel from the previous room to help purge the evil of the contract, and while it probebly helped, the combination of Holy and Unholy magic caused a detonation of magical energies, as well as start a battle and end the diplotatic encounter with a gout of holy fire.
With a seemingly good conversation ended with a holy explosion, Henny, and Sir Ren try to separate this evil from the helpless soul, but will their attempts be in vain?

We last left off our heroes just about to fight the Dragon-Scarred Dwarf Skeleton, was not happy with us after Sortok tried to aid in sanctifying it with the enchanted candles that were from the previous room, but only lead to angering the entity. And through some play, the Dragon-Scarred Dwarf had split into the Dwarf Skeleton, and the Dragon Entity, the former seemed very confused, and the latter, seems to be very angry, but the contract that bound these entities together split, and now resides in part written on each of their bodies. Now it is a fight to see if the party can withstand the onslaught of both the confused Dwarf Skeleton, and the angered Dragon, while the party tries to save then Dwarf from eternal damnation.
Can the party survive the wild attacks of the dwarf, while not damaging it unnecessarily while defeating the raging dragon entity, and find the solution to this chaos?

We left off in mid conflict where the party was trying desperately to save the dwarf from his Dragon Scarred curse, some of us trying to cleanse the spirit of the dwarf, and others holding the dragon spirit at bay. Sortok was determined to discover any secret in the contract written on the dragon's very body so that Henny would be able to complete his purification ritual. While the party met with some success, the curse was not going to be foiled so easily, and there was a mighty exposition, sending the party deep into the underground, as the floor gave way. We soon quickly discovered what had transpired, and sometimes things cannot be destroyed so easily find the closest host to inhabit. Now we are on a mission to cleanse this curse one and for all.
Can the party take the heat of a volcano so that one of their own can be cleansed of such evil?
